Last week I had to do a technical inspection with the van. It passed without problems! It's no more a passenger car, now it's something like a "lightweight mobile motor car". For next inspection in 2012 I need to show some kitchen stuff and a table. That's easy, because for the Nordkap-tour we need those stuff anyway...

The mechanic at the Garage had to replace all 4 shocks. They were defect because of too much "standing in the garage". So, next year I must drive much more. No Problem!

Later that week I replaced the v-belt, it looked really terrible. I bought a second one as a spare for the Nordkap journey.

To be prepared for every case, I mounted a new tire on one of the old original steel rims.

Unfortunately, the original place for the spare wheel doesn't exist anymore, so I needed something new. I needed a holder with wheels for easy moving the heavy spare wheel. So I made a sketch on paper and bought some material at the DYI-store

During the last visit at Pro Street Garage Marcel has kindly given me a window cover from an old donor van.

I never realised that this part is missing in my van...so I started to "make it fit" yesterday..
