step board and mosquito net
step board as a paint protection at the sliding door
For a long time I didn't knew how to protect the painted surface at the sliding door step. Should it be carpet, checker plate or something rubbery?
Finally I ran out of time and created something with leftovers from wood, PVC and aluminium angle profile.
The step board is attached only with velcro strip. This way I can remove the step easily (for cleaning...)
mosquito net
We want to be prepared for the mosquitoes in Sweden. There are round ones, but those can't be mounted in the car and you often get tangled in it while you're sleeping. In a camping-shop I found a box-shaped net which is easier to mount at the cars roof and it doesn't hang that much inside the bed.
The first try to mount the net was with a clothesline. Can't remember why I tried it that way. Later I removed the clothesline again and attached the net directly to the grey plastic tube-holders.
(addendum: In Sweden we only had one night with mosquitoes. But we mounted the net about two times, just to get me a feeling of "Mario, you did something really great!")
