dashboard painted

Last sunday we removed the dashboard completely. Next week it will get the fourth (and hopefully last) paint.

The part with the instruments and some other covers as well as the old decorative strip are currently at Carosserie Lüthi. They will get a rosewood design using watertransfer printing method (Dip Design).

I'm looking forward to reinstall the dashboard again. removing stuff always is much easier, and for that we had only 2 days haha.

As if it was not enough, we found some more unused and unmarked cables. It's always a lot of fun to find out what they were supposed to...

ceiling partly done

...and mounted

Yesterday we finished 3 of 5 ceiling parts.

At Schneiders Caravancenter Spreitenbach I bought 2 glue sprays. This one does not need to stand high temperatures as the super glue for the iso matts needed.

The ceiling part 1 (in the front) was the second most complicated. That's why we needed the half Saturday for it. Part 2 and 3 we upholstered and mounted in 3h, part 4 will be easy work for next week, but part 5 (in the back of the van and the last part of all) will be horror.
