We needed over a month to mount the isolation to the interior. Directly to the plate we used around 14m2 "Reimo X-trem Isolator - 10 mm thick" (Schneider Caravan Center, Spreitenbach). Then comes a noise protection foil with a vapor barrier. This foil is usually used for laying under the parquet floor, but works fine as an additional sound isolation and moisture barrier.

We have glued the Isomats with adhesive SikaBond T2. 310ml costs CHF 17 - in total we needed 5 of them for the entire Van. We wanted to use 3M spray adhesive glue (the more expensive version for up to 90° Celsius resistance). However, we could use it for almost 3m2, then the box was empty. And the stuff is toxic! I've never seen so many warning signs on a product. For the rest of the foil, we used the Sika adhesive again . Sticking EVERYTHING.
